This 2-hour program will include the following topics:
- how to define dangerous and unsafe structures
- enforcement tools that can be utilized in dealing with dangerous and unsafe structures
- how to effectively and lawfully apply the Uniform Construction Code, Property Maintenance Codes, Rental Inspection Ordinances, Fire/Safety Ordinances, Act 90 and other tools available to the building official and code enforcement officer
- examine the differences between condemnation and demolition and outline the legal processes for condemnation and demolition, including due process for the owner of the property.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions and have discussion with the presenters

To receive full CEU's for this class, Attendance & Participation in the Live Zoom's are required. You will be expected to attend the full duration of the class.

Cancellations must be received in writing by sending an email to cancellations@paconstructioncodesacademy.org . Refunds will be determined by the date of the fax or email. A cancellation received less than 10 business days of the session you are registered for, is subject to a $20 administrative fee and any PayPal transactional fees. Those who cancel within 3 business days of the session date or do not attend, forfeit the full registration fee and if unpaid, will be invoiced. Credit toward future PCCA courses may be accepted upon approval from the PCCA administrator; substitutions may be accepted.
