This online session in intended to introduce the participant to the recent changes in state law that authorized the establishment of installation and habitability guidelines for relocated manufactured homes. The expanded role of the manufactured home installer will be explored, as well as a detailed look at both the installation and habitability guidelines that have been developed.
This course provides construction code officials with the training they need to meet the provisions of Act 158 of 2004, requiring code officials who inspect the installation of new manufactured homes to successfully complete a workshop or training program approved by the Department. Code officials must attend training every 3 years to continue inspecting the installation of new manufactured homes.
