Exterior Site Elements Regulated by the UCC

This webinar will explore requirements and exemptions under the Uniform Construction Code as well as residential and commercial code requirements for elements that are not excluded or exempt from permit.

The scope of the program will include but not be limited to:  fences; retaining walls; grading; how the UCC interacts with stormwater management and impervious surface issues; landscape features that may be regulated under the UCC; water features; stairs not connected to the dwelling or regulated structures; parking; accessory uses (playgrounds, smoking areas, etc.); sidewalks and accessible routes that fall under the scope of the UCC.
