IFGC 101 is designed for code officials, inspectors, installers and contractors, but open to any interested party. This one-day course covers basic and advanced concepts, principles, and applications for the 2021 International Fuel Gas Code. Instruction includes a variety of pipe sizing and ventilation exercises to enhance the concepts being presented. After attending this course, you will:
Course Description
A one-day training course predetermined for municipal inspectors and design professionals, this newly expanded course covers basic and advanced concepts, principles, and applications required to knowledgably implement code requirements during field inspections, and when conducting plan reviews for the International Fuel Gas Code. This course incorporates instructor led differentiated activities, instruction and discussion.
Learning Objectives
1. Identify and distinguish materials needed and sizing of systems for gas piping installations.
2. Analyze and discern the design and construction of chimneys, vents, and venting systems.
3. Evaluate and apply general regulations as they pertain to appliance location, installation and combustion air provisions.
4. Discover how the International Fuel Gas Code interacts with the requirements of the International Mechanical Code.

BFCA Instructors will be utilizing an assessment tool during class for training purposes to engage lessons and collect your work.
Additionally, please note that participants are now required to complete a pre-test and post-test in order to receive their certificate of completion.

Attendance & Cancellation Policy for Virtual Class
To receive full CEU's for this class, Attendance & Participation in the Live Zoom's are required.

Cancellations must be received in writing by sending an email to cancellations@paconstructioncodesacademy.org . Refunds will be determined by the date of the fax or email. A cancellation received less than 10 business days of the session you are registered for, is subject to a $50 administrative fee and any PayPal transactional fees. Those who cancel within 3 business days of the session date or do not attend, forfeit the full registration fee and if unpaid, will be invoiced. Credit toward future PCCA courses may be accepted upon approval from the PCCA administrator; substitutions may be accepted.
