This course is designed to help floodplain administrators and local officials gain a better understanding of what is in their local floodplain ordinance. This 3 hour session will go over the minimum NFIP and PA requirements as well as higher standard options that may already be included, or could be incorporated into local floodplain management regulations.
Includes local zoning officials, contracted zoning officers, floodplain managers and building code inspection personnel and other stakeholders responsible for administering local floodplain management ordinances. At least have some familiarity with local ordinances and the basics of the NFIP is recommended, though it is not required.
Power point slides and model ordinance will be emailed if you'd like to print a copy or save on a laptop to bring with you.

CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY:
Cancellations must be received in writing by faxing to (717) 236-9493 or sending an email to email@example.com. Refunds will be determined by the date of the fax or email. A cancellation received less than 10 business days of the session you are registered for, is subject to a $20 processing fee for refunds. Those who cancel within 2 business days of the session date or do not attend, forfeit the full registration fee and if unpaid, will be invoiced. Credit toward future PCCA courses may be accepted upon approval from the PCCA administrator; substitutions may be accepted.
