A one-day training class developed for municipal inspectors and design professionals, this course presents the root ideology behind the theory of ethics, the development and use of professional ethics as a code professional, and effective tools to avoid ethical entrapment in the workplace. This course incorporates instructor led differentiated activities, instruction and discussion.
Students successfully completing the Ethics for the Code Official course will:
- Identify and correlate the different types of ethics to the role in the workplace.
- Observe and participate in demonstrations and modeling of use, application, intent and rationale of ethical theory in conjunction with instructor led differentiated activities.
- Develop a personal and professional code of ethics.

CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY:
Cancellations must be received in writing by faxing to (717) 236-9493 or sending an email to email@example.com. Refunds will be determined by the date of the fax or email. A cancellation received less than 10 business days of the session you are registered for, is subject to a $20 processing fee for refunds. Those who cancel within 2 business days of the session date or do not attend, forfeit the full registration fee and if unpaid, will be invoiced. Credit toward future PCCA courses may be accepted upon approval from the PCCA administrator; substitutions may be accepted.
